Sawyer Refectory Dining Bench
Our custom design Sawyer Dining Bench is inspired by the classic European Refectory style.
We build this heirloom piece completely out of solid hardwood (shown in White Oak). Loosen Tenon and Mortise joinery makes the quality craftsmanship of this Bench standout.
The table top is built with solid 8/4 (2”) hardwood for a stout look and feel.
Bench is finished with Rubio Monocoast Oil +2C for the highest end finished and a 2 part Ceramics Topcoat is applied for the best durability from scratching as well as water and stain resistance.
The bench top is secured to the base with 1/4-20 furniture bolts making it easier to move and to allow for seasonal wood movement.
This bench pairs with our matching Sawyer Dining Table and/or Adler and Aida chairs to complete the set. We Designed and build this bench to perfectly nest on the outside of the leg base of our Sawyer Table. This nesting feature is on of many details that make this custom dining set a true standout.
